Finding the First Landing Platform in North Hogwarts Region
The first landing platform in the North Hogwarts Region is located on the eastern side near the forest. Players can fast-travel to the East North Hogwarts Region Floo Flame and take flight toward the surrounding cliffs. Look along the rocky outcroppings situated between a local bandit camp and an old cottage to spot the platform.
Once you locate the octagonal platform, carefully lower your broom until your avatar stands directly in the center. The outer ring will spin and lock into place as the braziers ignite, confirming that the platform has been successfully registered to your challenge progress.
Locating the Second Landing Platform
To reach the second landing platform, head toward the western stretches of the North Hogwarts Region. You can use the Korrow Ruins Floo Flame as a starting point and follow the river that runs through the canyon. Gain significant altitude along the northern cliff wall to easily spot the platform perched on a high grassy ledge.
Landing on this second structure completes all the landing platform objectives available within the North Hogwarts Region. Ensuring you visit both spots helps build progress toward completing the broader Highlands landing platform challenges.
Unlocking the Quidditch Captain Rewards
Landing platforms do not reward traditional loot directly upon landing, but they contribute directly to your Exploration Challenges. As you hit milestone thresholds of activated platforms across the world map, you unlock pieces of the exclusive Quidditch Captain outfit set.
Unlocking two landing platforms awards the Quidditch Captain's Uniform, while additional milestones grant the Helmet, Gloves, and Cape. Players must open the main menu and manually claim these cosmetic appearances under the Challenges tab.
Tips for Finding Landing Platforms
Unlike standard collection items, landing platforms do not display iconic map markers even when flying very close to them. Scouting during the daytime provides maximum visibility across the rugged terrain and mountainous cliffs of Hogwarts.
Additionally, you can zoom out completely on the world map to track how many remaining platforms exist in each individual territory. If the braziers around a platform are already glowing with fire, you have already successfully completed that specific location.
